How do I handle when this is charged? I don't have a good handle on these things as it is and a fifty dollar charge at the wrong time can cascade into a fuckload of overdraft crap and I desperately need to avoid that kind of hassle. Is there a way to sort of control when this gets charges yearly?

does this apply to people in the Uk, how much?

Mike (and anybody else interested) -- yes, this very much applies to anyone, anywhere in the world! Thanks in advance to any of you in the UK who might sign up!

John -- as far as I know (anybody know more on this?), the way it works is you will be billed annually on the date you first subscribed (March 14th in your case, thank you very much!). I don't know of a way to change the date you're billed, other than unsubscribing and then resubscribing on the date (presumably next year, unless you want to get charged again this year) when you'd rather be billed annually...

Yes, sharing this post on Facebook is very, very welcome indeed!

8 days on from initially posting this I'm up to 36 subscribers. Seems like a good start. Just 964 to go! :-)

Unfortunately I'm not "financially solvent" right now, but I did share on Facebook. Hope this works out for you.

Thanks David. This is a good idea. I thought about how much this is per month and it is less than $5. A loaf of bread costs me that every time I go to the grocery store and I realize I can cut back for a really good cause. Please keep up the good work you do in keeping people aware.

Cool idea, thanks for the opportunity. And you know, I don't think there has been a year my sweetie & I haven't had at least $50 of pleasure from your music.

Thanks for doing it, and more crowdsourced power to you.

Thanks for providing the official Soundtrack for Shunra Media :)

And for standing by Gilad Atzmon, against the devastating and debilitating destructive tendency of some people to excommunicate each other...

And...

And...

And what everybody else says.

Hi David, Just got the pack of goodies - makes me feel like I've robbed you! Many thanks. Just one minor hitch - appear to have given you my old London Post Code (it's an age thing) the correct one is SA18 1UF, but I didn't know where to put it (it's an age thing). Love and very best wishes for a great tour, John and Mic XXXXXX.

I can only echo the thoughts of others when I say that I would never be able to pay David the true value of what his music has brought to my life and to the cause of human rights and the protection of the planet.

Hi David, I was sickened to hear about the New Zealand immigration service denying you entry. I was greatly looking forward to seeing you again. I will voice my protest directly to 'my' government, but I have joined your thousand friends subscribers in the hopes that one day you will be able to come back

Just subscribed to help fund one of the best singer songwriters I have ever heard. The first song I heard was "Occupation" and the first gig was in Cardiff last year. "In One World" is akin to "Imagine", only way better!

This is phenomenal David! What a great way to provide the security a family needs with the support your fans, friends and loved ones want to give you. Huzzah brother! I hope this works out so that we can spend time together again, with our band touring the past couple years and living a few hour drive away and your hectic schedule, it is hard to make it work. Perhaps this will allow our kids to get to know one another again someday! Much love from the Franklin family.
